high standards of contemporary wedding Austin Wedding Photography.
Gordon was born and raised in London, England, and moved to Austin Wedding in 2005. His

& Europe and he thrives on the challenge of new locations, new cultures and the
possibilities presented by the beautiful Hill Country of Austin.
Lara is a native Texan, returning to Austin Wedding in 2005 after a seven year adventure
in London which bagged her plenty of travel miles and a shiny new husband!
Lara is pronounced by the empathy she has with her

Frequently Asked Questions
What is "freestyle Austin Wedding Photography"?
We love pictures that tell a story, capturing the joy and emotion of a
moment; candid and photojournalism allow for this relaxed style of shooting. We
also have a passion for beautifully constructed fine-art pictures, this requires
control of light and classical posing experience. We combine both and switch
seamlessly to give you freestyle and fun Austin Wedding Photography.
When's the best time for a wedding?
The best times depend on a number of factors which we discuss in our initial
consultation. If you're planning a sunset Austin wedding, ensure the ceremony finishes
at sunset as there will be little light to take pictures after the sun drops
below the horizon. Checkout Austin Wedding monthly rain and temperatures as well as
Sunrise and Sunset times.
Can you recommend Austin Wedding vendors?
Yes, we have a page dedicated to a growing list of helpful websites, vendors,
and venues, Austin Wedding Photography, please click here for more info
Can I buy photos online?
Yes, you can view and buy prints from your favorite Austin Wedding Photographer via your own personal gallery on our
website. We even have gift coupons if you are looking to buy prints for a loved
one.
How do I get good quality reprints?
For the most important prints of 8x10 and above we recommend using our
Austin Wedding Photographer services and pro lab. When making your own prints from your professionally
produced PhotoDVD please read this for some handy tips.
Do you shoot more than one wedding in a day?
No, we firmly believe that all our energy should go into each wedding. We
also avoid back-to-back bookings; requiring at least a full day's rest between
events. This keeps us fresh and motivated on your day! And we would expect nothing less from your Wedding Day Photography.
Are you a part of any professional organization?
Yes, we are proud to be full members with the PPThis benefits you through
our participation with and support from the worlds largest professional
photographer organization. PPA#5136491
Professional Photographers of America
Do you have insurance?
Yes, our membership with the PPA (above) provides full liability coverage and
is specific to the wedding and portrait industry. This
is something every Austin Wedding Photographer must have for your wedding photography.
What clothing should I wear for an engagement session?
Try and wear matching tops and bottoms, e.g. jeans and white tops. I usually
recommend a shirt or t-shirt for the guys and a tank-top / spaghetti string tank
top for the ladies. But choose whatever you feel comfortable with. The only real
rule is: no patterned clothing. I also recommend a change of tops so that we can
have two different looks during the shoot.
Can I link to my pictures from a webpage?
Yes. We supply a link to our Austin Wedding Photographer website that you can use on a wedding page, MySpace, Blog, etc.
Your guests will click on the link and get access to your photos without any
typing!
BrideChilla or BrideZilla?
In a recent backlash against Bridezilla's a new term has been coined, the
Bridechilla! The hardest part of any wedding day is managing all the details
that you've worked so hard putting together. Sending time on yourself and with
friends and family should be the highlight of all that work - so relax! Here's
some tips and blogs that can help you unwind...

Can you recommend which color schemes work best?
There's a wonderful blog called "Style Me Pretty" that provides inspiration
boards and color schemes to suit every taste.
Can I design my own album?
Do you stamp or watermark your prints and albums?
No! Once you buy a print or album it's yours to keep; free from our Austin Wedding Photography branding. All
our PhotoDVDs are high resolution originals - no catches.
What equipment do you use?
We use only Canon Digital Cameras and Lenses to give you unrivaled image
quality and color accuracy. We bring studio strobes in case we need to light
large areas for group portraits. We carry backup lenses, flashguns and cameras
in the event of a failure. You can be assured your Austin Wedding Photographer won't miss a beat.
Where are you located and do you travel?
Your Austin Wedding Photographer is based in North Austin bordering Cedar Park, about 10 mins from
Lakeline Mall. We travel up to three hours for a wedding; putting Houston, San
Antonio, Waco, and surrounding towns within easy reach.
